I have been using this amp as an internal signal booster for over 1 year driving signals from an array of HDTV antennas. It performs well, and is delivering a clear signal to receivers on the end of 50 ft cable runs.

No problems with the unit except during installation when I needed my glasses to identify the labels for which ports were which.

I found little improvement in signal strength when I located the amp too far away from my antenna and closer to the t.v. I have several UHF antennae in the attic and the most distant tv is located about 100′ away at the other end of the house and down 2 floors. I now have 3 amplifiers and that pulls in the weakest signal in my viewing area. All the amps are located within 20 feet of the antenna and just before the first signal splitter. I have the antenna mounted as high as possible given the neighborhood covenant against aerials on the roof. Raising it helped significantly.
